PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Risk Rating Platform (PNC Banking) Period: July 2014 – Till Date

Client: PNC Banking

The application is a GUI application to handle all Risk Rating associated with a banking customer. Automation was needed to test all existing functionality migrated perfectly into the new system from one server to another.

Responsibilities:-

·         Involved in preparing the Automation Test Strategy, test plan and delivering the product successfully by giving valuable observations on all fronts.

·         Capturing the Requirements and understanding the business by going through SRS, Technical Design documents etc.

·         Responsible for building the automation framework from ground up.

·         Designing modules, scripts, and giving regular demos to clients and capturing the feedback to design enhancements into the system.

·         Leading a team of 2 QTP testers.

LTC Annuities - Admin (Automation Tester) Period: Jan 2012 – April 2014

Client: Genworth Financials

The application is used as an Admin system that hosts all policy, customer and client information from different US states. It’s a complete online Admin application for Annuities insurance business involving agents and customers.

Responsibilities:-

·         Designed scripts for PDF automation.

·         Prepared Test Scripts, Test Environment, Test data, Bug reports, Execution and Monitoring & Control Automation Suits.

·         Involved in documentation of all automated scripts.

·         Developed Tractability Matrix and Test Coverage reports.

·         Execute and verify the jobs status and data in database tables

·         Modified configuration files for data extraction.

·         Loaded data and queried databases using SQL queries.

·         Worked on Project and Portfolio management (PPM) and ALM tool for tracking tickets and raising bugs.

LTC Sales – Quote It (Automation Tester) Period: April 2011 –December 2011

Client: Genworth Financials

Quote It is an online and offline tool; directed towards the agents for generating quotations and previewing them in Insurance.

Responsibilities:-

·         Worked as a sole tester and coordinated with the satellite team located elsewhere for complete testing process.

·         Created data repository for the automated tests to be repeatable for several sets of test data.

·         Involve in framework development, maintenance using QTP 10.0

·         Involved in debugging and enhancement of the test scripts.

·         Functional testing against the application and backend logic generated results from the DB server.

·         Contributed to testing enhancements implemented for the regular release while understanding the functionality with minimum knowledge transfer sessions.

Client: Genworth Financials

LTC (Long term care) is a specific plan under Insurance domain for Genworth Financials. Admin was responsible to handle all incoming policy requests from upstream systems and directing downstream systems accordingly.

Responsibilities:-

·         Analyzing and understanding the BRD of the application to develop the Test Scenarios and Test scripts

·         Performed lead tasks and responsibilities with managing team of 4 testers.

·         Analyzing and running macros on Mainframe system being used as  BDMS

·         Raised, tracked and retested bugs in Quality Center

·         Interacted with Client on regular basis on issues and bugs.

·         Carried out batch and drip transactions on the mainframe system

·         Own and manage QTP automated scripts

Savvion Proflow   (QA/Functional Tester) Period: April 2010 - December 2010

Savvion Proflow is accounts payable software, which is powered by Savvion where invoices are created and managed accordingly.

Responsibilities:

·         Analyzing and understanding the BRD of the application to develop the Test Scenarios and Test scripts
